  • Yes. When you receive a compliance notice or enforcement letter from your city water purveyor, you can upload the notice directly through our portal. We coordinate the dispatch of a licensed technician to perform the test before your deadline.

Our Process & City Submissions

  • After testing is completed, your assigned technician uploads the official pass/fail compliance report directly to your municipality’s designated portal—such as BSI Online, Vepo, SC Tracking, or direct city portals. You will receive a digital copy for your records, and your city compliance record is updated automatically.

  • DFW Backflow Compliance is an administrative compliance management and dispatch platform. We streamline scheduling, automated annual reminders, multi-property portfolio tracking, and digital city reporting. All physical field testing, maintenance, and repairs are fulfilled by licensed, insured, third-party backflow technicians within our North Texas network.

  • If your backflow device is located outdoors (such as a lawn sprinkler RPZ or double check valve) with unlocked, clear access, you do not need to be on-site. The technician will complete the testing, secure the area, and deliver your digital report electronically. For indoor devices or locked commercial utility rooms, we schedule a specific arrival window.

Testing, Repairs, & Failures

  • If an assembly fails, the technician will generate a detailed failure report identifying the specific component or pressure drop issue. Our team will issue a clear repair estimate. Upon approval, we dispatch a technician to replace worn internal parts (such as rubber seals or check valves) and complete the required re-test for city filing.

  • A standard backflow test typically takes 20 to 30 minutes per assembly. Water service may be shut off briefly (usually 10 to 15 minutes) while test gauges are connected to measure differential pressure across the internal valves.
